HGTV to Launch a Print Magazine!
If you’re like us and are still mourning the loss of that great magazine “Domino,” could a suitable replacement finally be on the way? HGTV in conjunction with Hearst Magazines will be introducing a new title coming this fall to newstands: “HGTV Magazine” (no points awarded for the non-creative name).
As you might expect, the magazine will cover a variety of topics like decorating, renovating, gardening real estate, entertaining, food, how to make the most of your home and behind-the-scenes info on HGTV talent. Sara Peterson, the former editor of Coastal Living, is the editor-in-chief. The first issues is slated to be released in October, with the second following in January. If reception is good, they’ll go full-scale in 2012.
What do you think about this news?! Do you think you’ll like the sort of things they cover? Do you think they’ll cover any modern topics? Could this be a replacement for our beloved and dead “Domino”?
